What
are your cleaning methods?
That depends on what fabrics we’re dealing with and how dirty they are.
We have a variety of methods to handle specific situations, but generally recommend
truck-mounted hot water extraction (steam cleaning) for on-site jobs and deep
stains. We also employ different techniques to clean area rugs in our shop
depending on what material they are made of. Please contact us for more information
on our techniques and recommendations.
Do
you have certified technicians?
Our technicians are professionally certified by the International Institute
of Carpet and Rug Cleaners. All of our cleaning and repair staff go through
a rigorous training process and background screening as part of our hiring
and development program. We are also fully insured and bonded.
How
often should I clean my carpets and upholstery?
Typically, we recommend cleaning your carpets every six months to one year,
depending on the type of carpet and how much traffic it sees. Most carpet warranties
also require professional cleaning about once annually to remain valid. However,
if you have pets or children, you should consider cleaning high traffic areas
more frequently. Spills and deep stains should be cleaned immediately because
the longer they sit, the tougher they are to get out.
Can
you move my furniture for me?
Yes. We’ll take care of moving large or heavy furniture. For their safety,
please put away delicate or breakable items before we arrive.
Are
your products dangerous to my pets or family?
No. We use mild detergents that do not contain harmful solvents. Please feel
free to contact us if you have more specific questions or concerns.
What
can you do to help my allergies?
Many allergies are intensified or triggered by dust in carpets, on furniture,
and particularly in air ducts. A thorough cleaning can help remove allergens
and improve your home’s air quality.
Will
it take long for my carpets to dry?
Most carpets will take five to eight hours to dry depending on the type of
fabric and the room temperature. You should leave carpet protectors under your
furniture for at least 24 hours.
Can
you clean my furniture?
Yes we can. Whether in your home, in our shop, or on a boat or other vehicle,
we know how to treat delicate fabrics and have proven techniques for cleaning
and restoring all types of furniture.
Can
you fix my carpet?
Our professional staff can repair seams, cigarette burns, and tears in your
home carpeting. We also repair and re-fringe all types of area rugs.
Should
I use fabric protection?
We recommend Teflon fabric protection if you have pets, children, or a lot
of traffic in your home. Teflon fabric protection can help make your fabrics
more spill-resistant and coat them against deep stains.
