INFORMATION
Fire Regulations require that all stage drapery fabrics to be treated for fire retardancy. This does not mean fireproof but rather that the treated fabric will char under continuous flame or heat but not hold a flame. Care should be taken to insure that the drapes do not come into direct contact with any heat source or lighting instrument. Curtains fabricated of the flame proofed materials should be tested periodically to ensure that fabrics still meet fire regulations and Cleanol can advise you of the regulatory standards and requirements.
